EXP2

Nice to see some students have adhered to the EXP2 due date. Congratulations to those students, you won't have marks deducted!

John - great screen shots and great drawings. Considerate use of light.
Lin - interesting and experimental architectural forms.
Alvin - amazing drawings, as always, and just incredible, beautiful graphics and presentation.
David - pleasantly surprised with the outcome of the architectural forms, perhaps colour and texture could have been added. Great drawings.
Anthony - architecture, wow. textures, wow. drawings, wow. presentation, wow.
Elijah - great drawings, nice experimentation with the landform.
Victor - great images, especially the points of view and framing. great textures and overall architectural concept
Jeffrey - Thought-provoking architectural response, placement and interaction with landscape also engaging.

Great to see the standard is moving in a positive direction, huge improvement!

From now on, whenever your pen touches paper, you draw with as much precision, care, thoughtfulness and experimentation as you have for this experiment!! I'll expect no less for EXP3, but also for your future studies and practice in architecture.

Grose Bradley
Edmund Blacket
Uses a combination of numerous materials but keeps them in their pure and simple form
Changes materials, such as Stone, to create ornament and forms that are symbolic of (religion, nature, universe) rather than reflective of the material itself.
Enclosure of space is minimised by the abstract geometry and avoids solid divisions.
Spatial complexity is evident in clear proportions and shapes leading from each other.
Create a harmonious relationships between human habitation and the natural environment
Create a unassociated relationships between human habitation and the natural environment
Use of artificial light to emphasise the features of architecture to make differences between day and night.
Natural light can light up the interior of the building during the day time, and there is no artificial light.
unified building and the environment by using multiple forms of unclosed space division.
vertical emphasis to highlight connection to greater being, god, and also the grandness (importance) of religion.
Atmosphere – join (connect, unite)

Unite the atmosphere of outside and inside the architecture.
Atmosphere – separate (building to have its own)

Create a distinct change of atmosphere when entering the architecture
